This tour will give you a surreal and relaxing escape and an exciting playing field for your imagination. The itinerary will introduce you to awe-inspiring landscapes, captivating sunsets, and incredible sightings of the Big Five. Common Masai Mara wildlife you should expect to spot on this trip includes African cats: leopards, cheetahs, lions, and wild dogs. You will also spot wildebeests, zebras, lions, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, elephants, impalas, waterbucks, hyenas, and many other animals.
Upon your arrival, you’ll find one of our tour guides excitedly waiting for you and ready to take you through this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We will leave Nairobi and ease into the Nairobi- Nakuru highway, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Here, you will have your first encounter with Kenya’s beauty. After leaving the viewpoint, your driver will head towards Masai Mara, driving past Mt. Longonot and Suswa ranges, among other remarkable places. We will have lunch and leave you to relax in your room as you rejuvenate for the real adventure, which begins with the evening game drive at 3 PM. This short game drive will hint at what awaits you in the ensuing days of your 3-day Masai Mara safari package. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge, have dinner and sleep overnight.
Day two of your Masai Mara itinerary affords you two options: you can opt for an all-day game drive with a picnic lunch or shorter game drives with returns to the hotel. The day starts with a short pre-breakfast game drive, usually leaving at 6.30 am. You will then return to your camp for a proper breakfast and depart for another morning-long game drive, only returning to your camp in time for lunch. You can choose to have an evening game drive later in the day or opt to relax by the pool or engage in other activities. We can organize a romantic bush dinner on this day.
This is the last day of your Masai Mara safari 3 days tour. You have probably seen much of what makes the Masai Mara a world-winning game reserve. So, we will leave your camp after breakfast with bags packed, as you will not be returning after your morning game drive. The drive will take you around the park, perhaps to an area you haven’t visited before, as the van slowly makes its way outside the park. We exit the park by around 10:30 am and head to the Maasai Villages, the final stop of our 3-day Masai Mara Safari itinerary. Depending on the time, you might have a lunch stop in Narok town or get some snacks to keep you until you arrive at your hotel in Nairobi in time for your flight back home. This marks the end of your 3 Days Masai Mara package.
