This tour offers you a visit to two famous destinations in Kenya: Masai Mara Game Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park. Masai Mara Game Reserve is famous for hosting a variety of animals and the great wildebeest migration. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for hosting a large population of pink flamingos sighted on the shores of Lake Nakuru. However, Lake Nakuru is famous for flamingos; it is a habitat for many animals, such as zebras, lions, leopards, baboons, and white rhinos.
Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport and head out for the Masai Mara. We'll break up our drive with a stop at the town of Narok for breakfast and arrive at the Mara around mid-morning. Upon arrival, you will have lunch and rest for a while as your prepare for an afternoon game drive; on the afternoon game drive, you will view a variety of animals in the open plains of Masai mara, such as elephants, lions, leopards, giraffe, zebras, wildebeests and many more. From the game drive, you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and sleep overnight.
On the second day of the safari, you will wake up early for breakfast, and since it will be a full day in the park, you will go with your packed lunch. You will depart from your lodge to the park for a full-day game drive that is a morning game drive and evening game drive; on the morning game drive. You view animals like lions, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeest, and many more. On the evening game drive, you will view nocturnal predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many more looking for their prey. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge, have dinner and sleep overnight.
On the third day of your safari, you will check out of your lodge after breakfast and depart for Lake Nakuru national park with an en-route game drive where you will see animals you missed. From Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park, it is a drive of 6-7 hours, and when the park, you will have lunch and go for an evening game drive. In Lake Nakuru National Park, you will be welcomed by beautiful sights of pink flamingos; as you drive, you will enjoy views of many animals in the park-like giraffes, white rhinos, and many more. After the game drive, you return to your lodge, freshen up, have dinner and stay overnight.
On this last day of the safari, you will wake up early for breakfast, check out of your lodge and go for a morning game drive; the morning game drive is a perfect time for watching a variety of bird species in the park, including the famous pink flamingoes. After the game drive, you will drive back to Nairobi city. Upon reaching Nairobi, you will have lunch and then have your drop off either at the airport or your hotel, which marks the end of the safari.
